Brooke Maurer

Brooke is a native of Middle Georgia. She graduated from Jones County High School in Gray before attending Macon State College (now Middle Georgia State University). She earned her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Macon State before transferring to Georgia College and State University where she has earned her Masters in Early Childhood Education and Specialists Degree in Continuing Education. Brooke accepted the Lord Jesus Christ has her personal savior at Wheeler Heights Baptist Church with her now husband, Pastor Cory Maurer, by her side. Since that time she has been extremely active in church, and espcially with the children’s ministry. She has worked alongside Cory since his time at Wheeler Heights and is continuing to do so at UCC. Brooke has a strong passion to see young children become disciples for Christ. Brooke helped to lead the effort to revamp the children’s ministry at UCC which is now called the Tree House. In the fall of 2017 she led the effort to begin our Awana program, which has been instrumental in our children’s department.

Brooke and Cory have been married since 2011, and they have two beautiful children, Eli and Ansley.
