Ken is a native of Macon, GA. He has been a faithful member of UCC for many years and has deep roots going back to Macon Evangelistic Church. Ken serves in many capacities at the church, many of which are behind the scenes. He serves as a Deacon of the church and as our Worship Leader. Ken brings a tremendous amount of passion to leading worship in the church. His heart is to see the people worship God in Spirit and in truth. Under his leadership the worship style of the church has become more of a blended style of worship with some contemporary Christian music and some hymns. The genuineness of heart that he brings to the role is infectious and helps the congregation to worship more freely and truly.

Ken is married to his wife of more than 40 years Kathy Whitehead and they have two grown children Kenny and Christopher and several grandchildren.
